What is a Segway? It is a motorised two-wheeled personal transportation vehicle, often used by policemen in towns and cities.
And, they can also be seen along the Promenade des Anglais thanks to a company called Mobilboard -so now you too can try them for yourself!
So why not take some time out and have a go? Various options are available, ranging from half-hour taster sessions along the Promenade des Anglais, to a two-hour Grand Tour of Nice’s most beautiful sights.
No need to worry, Segways are easy to use. It doesn’t take long to learn how to handle one. It’s just a matter of balance, leaning gently forward to move, and slightly back to brake. You’ll need about five minutes to get the hang of them!
